"This content cannot be displayed in a Frame" error when accessing an application through Mobile Access using Hostname Translation (HT)
Symptoms
  • The following error is displayed when accessing an application through Mobile Access using Hostname Translation (HT):

"This content cannot be displayed in a Frame: To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame"

  • The application opens correctly (without an error) outside of a frame.

  • In the browser debugger we have the following error message: "Refused to display 'https://....' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.
Cause

The system is functioning as designed - Frame Hijacking protection prevents the application from being opened in a frame (to prevent click-jacking attack on Mobile Access portal pages, the following HTTP header was added - "X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN").
