Symptoms

When NTP is configured on Gaia OS machine, machine responds to queries from hosts (in case it allows connections on NTP port - UDP port 123).

Example:

[Expert@HostName]# ntpq
ntpq> peers
     remote           refid      st t when poll reach   delay   offset  jitter

Cause

Enabling use of an NTP server in the Gaia configuration automatically starts the NTP daemon.
The daemon acts as a client and server by design.
