Both Active members forward the PIM Dense-Mode Multicast traffic in a setup of two ClusterXL in HA mode with IGMP Membership connected on the same segment
In a setup of two ClusterXL in High Availability mode with IGMP Membership connected on the same segment (with different values of 'fwha_mac_magic'), both Active members forward the PIM Dense-Mode Multicast traffic that passes through these clusters (the multicast receiver shows packets with the source MAC address of both Active members).
PIM Sparse-Mode Multicast traffic is forwarded correctly by the DR (only by one of the Active members).
Changing the priority of PIM interfaces does not change anything until RouteD daemon is killed on all cluster members.
Disabling or enabling of SecureXL does not change anything.
RouteD trace (PIM, IGMP and MFC) shows: igmp_process_wrong_iif: received a register packet, iif == 0
Cause
Incorrect handling of "wrong iif" notifications in RouteD daemon in PIM Dense-Mode when the interface is "vif 0" - when RouteD daemon sees that "iif = 0", it does nothing thinking it is the "pimreg" interface.
