Symptoms
  • "Unable to open '/dev/fw6vX': No such file or directory" error appears repeatedly in $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg file.

    Example:
    Unable to open '/dev/fw6v2': No such file or directory
    Unable to open '/dev/fw6v3': No such file or directory
    Unable to open '/dev/fw6v4': No such file or directory
    
  • "malware_report_user_kern_update: fwioctl6_multik() failed, index X" error appears repeatedly in $FWDIR/log/fwd.elg file.

    Example:
    malware_report_user_kern_update: fwioctl6_multik() failed, index 2
    malware_report_user_kern_update: fwioctl6_multik() failed, index 3
    malware_report_user_kern_update: fwioctl6_multik() failed, index 4
    
  • Disabling IPv6 on Security Gateway does not change anything.
