SmartLog may crash after upgrade to R77 Technical Level

Note: This issue is not relevant for Multi-Domain Management environment.

This problem was fixed. To resolve it:

  1. Download this SmartLog script.

  2. Transfer the script to the SmartLog machine in Binary mode (to any directory).

  3. Connect to command line on the SmartLog machine and log in to the Expert mode.

  4. If this script file was transferred from a Windows OS machine, then convert the file to UNIX format. Run:

    [Expert@HostName]# dos2unix

  5. Assign execute permissions to the script. Run:

    [Expert@HostName]# chmod u+x

  6. Stop SmartLog services. Run:

    [Expert@HostName]# smartlogstop

  7. Execute the script. Run:

    [Expert@HostName]# ./

    Note: This script creates a log file - /opt/CPInstLog/<Full_Name_of_the_Script_File>.elg

  8. Start SmartLog services. Run:

    [Expert@HostName]# smartlogstart
