Full Disk Encryption does not support being installed or upgraded on systems equipped with IntelĀ® Turbo Memory controller and running with Windows ReadyBoost enabled.
When enabling Windows ReadyBoost with Intel Turbo Memory Controller, the internal flash drive that is used for caching the data is reported as Disk 0. This is causing the Full Disk Encryption service to be unable to find the area on the disk used for internal data storage and as a result shuts down.
