Centrally Managed 1100 / 1200R / 1400 appliance defined as SmartLSM / DAIP device has connectivity issues with Management Server / Log server
Symptoms
  • Centrally Managed 1100 / 1200R / 1400 appliance is not able to establish SIC with / fetch policy from / send logs to Management Server / Log Server in the following scenario:

    • Centrally Managed 1100 / 1200R / 1400 appliance is defined as Dynamically Assigned IP address (DAIP) device,
      or as SmartLSM device and is managed by SmartProvisioning
    • There is FireWall between the 1100 / 1200R / 1400 appliance and Management Server / Log server
