Need to enable routing engine per Virtual System Yes, via the commands in Expert mode:

[Expert@HostName:0]# vsx set <VS_ID>
[Expert@HostName:0]# drouter enable <VS_ID>
[Expert@HostName:0]# drouter start <VS_ID>
No need. The routing engine is enabled automatically when Dynamic Routing protocols are defined in Clish.
CLI command for accessing a specific Virtual System

In Expert mode, type:

[Expert@HostName:0]# router
(disconnected)> vrf-connect <VS_ID>

In the Clish, type:

HostName:0> set virtual-system <VS_ID>
Print Dynamic Routing configuration In Expert mode, type:

[Expert@HostName:0]# router
(disconnected)> vrf-connect <VS_ID>
localhost.localdomain- VRF-VS_ID> enable
localhost.localdomain- VRF-VS_ID# show running-config
In the Clish, type:

HostName:0> show configuration
Disable Dynamic Routing In Expert mode, type:

[Expert@HostName:0]# drouter stop <VS_ID>
[Expert@HostName:0]# drouter disable <VS_ID>
No need. The routing engine is disabled automatically when unused.

Note: routing engine in Gaia also handles static routing.
