Symptoms
  • "The Suspicious Mail Activity feature is enabled while no Anti Spam license found" error during policy verification and installation after enabling Anti-Bot blade.

  • The following warnings during policy verification and installation after enabling Anti-Bot blade:

    • Packet capture is not supported on this platform
    • Suspicious mail outbreaks is not supported on this platform
  • "Contract is Expired." warning for Anti-Spam blade during policy verification and installation.

Cause
  1. The R75.40 Anti-Bot and Anti-Virus Administration Guide (Chapter 3 'Managing Anti-Bot and Anti-Virus' - Profiles Pane - Creating Profiles - Anti-Bot Settings) states:

    "The Suspicious Mail Outbreaks layer requires an AntiSpam License".
  2. "Packet capture" and "Suspicious mail outbreaks" features are not supported on 1100 / 1200R appliances.
