How to read bladed licenses output Technical Level
Solution

To identify the contents of the license file, open the CPLicense.lic file with a text editor. Look at the contents in the file. For example, in the file contents below you will see:

Where

  • License 192.168.60.1 is the IP address of the license. This is determined by the type of license that is selected in the licensing process.

  • never is the length of the license term.

  • CPSG-C-8-U or CPSM-C-U is the container portion of the license.

  • CPSG-C-8-U is the gateway container. 8 is the number of cores supported on the container. U is the number of users supported for this gateway.

  • CPSM-C-U is the management container. U is for unlimited number of gateways.

  • After the container header is the sku features. For the following example the sku features follow:

    CPSB-FW CPSB-VPN CPSB-ADN CPSB-ACCL CPSB-IA CPSB-APCL CPSB-IPS are the sku features for the gateway license.

    CPSB-ADN-M CPSB-ACCL-M CPSB-NPM CPSB-EPM CPSB-LOGS CPSB-MNTR CPSB-UDIR CPSB-PRVS CPSB-IPSA CPSB-WKFL-U are the sku features for the management.

  • CK-A12345678901 is the product serial number, certificate key or mac address.

  • = iHBCL3au-5NSJB8eAT-hntBG8fz8-y6S9n3Aab is the signature key of the license.
