Symptoms

After configuring SNMP on Gaia and enabling the LinkUp/LinkDown Trap (linkUpLinkDown), the traps are not sent when bringing an interface down/up, or disconnecting/reconnecting a network cable from/to that interface.
Debugging SNMPD daemon per sk56783 shows the following error:
Error: You must specify a default user name using the agentSecName token

Cause

Some traps require that a 'Trap User' is defined.
