Media Encryption and Port Protection blocking access to external USB drive Technical Level
  • When read only access Media Encryption and Port Protection profile is assigned to a device, access to the device is still prevented by the Check Point Endpoint Security client

Device is attempting to create an icon next to its drive letter in Windows explorer everytime it is plugged into a computer. This requires read/write access for the device for the autorun.inf file to run correctly.
