ISP Redundancy in ClusterXL when interfaces of cluster members and cluster VIP are defined on different subnets
Symptoms
  • ISP Redundancy does not perform fail-over on its links when physical interfaces of cluster members and cluster VIP are defined on different subnets per sk32073.
Cause

ISP Redundancy is not supported in ClusterXL where physical interfaces of cluster members and cluster VIP are defined on different subnets per sk32073 (Configuring Cluster Addresses on Different Subnets).


Solution

No fix / change is required. This behavior is by design.
