Endpoint Security E80.32 is now available. This release is a recommended update for all Endpoint Security E80.30 installations. It includes improved performance and security and new resolved issues for all Endpoint Security servers and clients.

What's New in Endpoint Security E80.30

 This section covers what's new on the server and client side.

  • Server Side Features: 

    • Virtual Groups: A directory that you can use to create and manage groups, users, and computers with the Endpoint Security Management Console. You can use it as an alternative to active directory, or with active directory for added flexibility.
    • New configurable permission to delete items from removable devices.
    • Improved Endpoint Security server installation.

  • Client Side Features:

    • Preboot authentication with Smart Cards: Users can authenticate to the Preboot with a Smart Card. Users must have a physical card, an associated certificate, and Smart Card drivers installed. New Preboot reports help you manage the Smart Card authentication.
    • Improved Installation Postponement Message: When users postpone an installation or upgrade, they can choose the time interval until the next reminder message.
    • Support for E80 Network protection and Anti-malware protection on Windows servers.
    • Media Encryption and Port Protection supports USB 3.0 standard devices.
  • Localization Features: 
     
    • SmartConsole now supports English and Japanese.
    • Client Packages now support:
      • English
      • French
      • German
      • Japanese
      • Russian
      • Czech

E80.30 for Administrators

SmartConsole for Endpoint Security E80.30
The SmartConsole for Endpoint Security E80.30 allows the Administrator to connect to the Endpoint Security E80.30 Management Server and to manage the new Endpoint Security software blades.
Use this SmartConsole in demo mode to experience Endpoint Security E80.30 Management Server capabilities.

This SmartConsole supports both Japanese and English.

Endpoint Security Server E80.30 for Windows
Use this to install a new Endpoint Security E80.30 Management Server and the SmartConsole for Endpoint Security E80.30.

Endpoint Security E80.30 Server Upgrade
Use this in order to upgrade the Endpoint Security E80 / E80.10 or E80.20 Management Server to Endpoint Security E80.30.

Endpoint Security E80.30 Client Packages for Administrators (build 995)
This contains all available Endpoint Security E80.30 Clients with these languages included:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Japanese
  • Russian
  • Czech

To import the client packages to your server:

  1. In the Endpoint Security Management Console, open the Software Deployment tab.
  2. Select Package Repository.
  3. Click Add from file, select one package at a time to upload to your server.
  4. Repeat until you have uploaded all six packages.

E80.30 for End Users

Endpoint Security E80.30 Agent (build 995)
This component is used to connect the Client to the Endpoint Security E80.30 Management Server. Once connected, the Administrator can deploy Endpoint Security software blades and manage the Client. The Endpoint Agent, also known as the Device Agent or DA, does not enable any security features before interacting with the Endpoint Security E80.30 Management Server.
