Solution

Database Revision Control is not supported in environment with VSX objects (Main CMA managing VSX as well as Target CMAs' managing VS objects).

If you restore the database, you will get the previous VSX configuration on Security Management server (Virtual Systems, interfaces, routes, etc.); however, the VSX configuration on VSX gateways will not be changed. This may cause inconsistency in VSX configuration between VSX gateways and Management database.

In addition, in Multi-Domain Security Management environments, the VSX configuration is stored on multiple Domains, but Database Revision Control works on each specific Domain. Therefore, it cannot support VSX objects.

To be consistent, the same limitation applies to Security Management server.
