Forcing License Removal Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Unable to remove licenses either via sk33341 or SmartUpdate SmartConsole.
Cause

Security Gateway was removed from Global Policy, but one of CMA still had it in its rulebase as well as internal database, though it was not used, but could not be modified or deleted, since the licences could not be removed.


Solution

The solution was to Logon to GuiDBedit-> SmartUpdate Table -> licenses Table.Find CK (Certificate Key) you wish to remove from list and hit delete. This will PERMANENTLY get rid of the license and you should be okay.
