On the Security Gateway, 'cplic print' command output does not show contract information after the information is added to the Security Management Server Technical Level
Symptoms
  • After the user adds contract information to the Security Management Server, it does not show up in the cplic print command's output on the Security Gateway.
Cause

After the user downloads a new contract file, the file is not automatically propagated to the Security Gateways. For this reason, the output for cplic print on the Security Gateways might display a different contract status than what is shown in SmartUpdate.


Solution

Copy the latest contract file from the Security Management to the Security Gateway by running the 'contract_util mgmt' command on the Security Gateway.
