- Installing HFA on Windows OS causing the following errors after
cpprod_util.exe - Entry Point Not Found. Procedure entry point FwIsFullHA could not be located in the dynamic link library cpprod50.dll
The procedure entry point fwha_get_member_if_by_cluster_if could not be located in the dynamic link library cpfwsys.dll
Not all Check Point processes were stopped during the HFA installation and as a result one or more of the dll files was locked and not upgraded.
To resolve the problem, perform the following:
- Uninstall the HFA using the uninstall script as listed in HFA Release Notes and reboot the machine.
- Run the
- Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services - and manually stop all Check Point services that are still running.
For SmartCenter server, verify that the SNMP service is stopped.

cphamcset.exe process is stopped.
- Install the HFA.
- Reboot the machine.
