Symptoms
- Interface is shown as '
UNKNOWN
' in the FW Monitor output on IPSO OS.
Example:
UNKNOWN:o[60]: 10.207.122.250 -> 192.168.28.27 (ICMP) len=60 id=31283
Cause
Logical properties of an interface did not get filtered/updated correctly into the Check Point kernel.
Solution
To correct this, it is recommended to restart the Check Point services to allow Check Point kernel to capture and refresh all of the physical as well as the logical property attributes of the interfaces:
HostName[admin]# cpstop ; cpstart
