How to prevent ClusterXL / VRRP / IPSO IP Clustering from hiding its own traffic behind Virtual IP address
Symptoms
  • By default, all traffic that was originated by the member itself, will be sent out as hidden behind Virtual IP of the cluster on that subnet.

  • In some cases it is desired or even required that the member sends the traffic using its own Physical IP address in the Source field of the packet, and not the Virtual IP of the cluster.

  • Standby cluster member drops traffic.
