Solution
Procedure:
- On SmartCenter/Security Management Server installations, just run
LSMenabler
command (without any switches).
- On Provider-1 / Multi-Domain installations, you must access a Customer's / Domain's context to successfully invoke
LSMenabler
.
Run mdsenv <CMA_NAME>
command to switch to relevant context, and then run LSMenabler
command (without any switches).
- On Security Gateway installations, just run
LSMenabler
command (without any switches).
Returned strings:
- If SmartLSM/SmartProvisioning was not enabled on an installation, then only the
LSMenabler
command's usage is returned.
- If SmartLSM was enabled on the SmartCenter / Provider-1 CMA, then the following string is returned:
This SmartCenter Server supports Profile Based Management
- If SmartProvisioning was enabled on the Security Management Server / Domain Management Server, then the following string is returned:
This Security Management Server supports Profile Based Management
- If SmartLSM/SmartProvisioning was enabled on Security Gateway, then the following strings are returned:
This Corporate Office Gateway supports VPN from ROBO Gateways
This machine is a ROBO Cluster Member
This machine is a ROBO Gateway
- If SmartLSM/SmartProvisioning was enabled on StandAlone installation (SmartCenter/Security Management Server and Security Gateway on the same machine), then both strings are returned - for SmartCenter/Security Management Server and for Security Gateway.
