RADIUS/SecurID packets are being picked up by an implied rule instead of being encrypted
Symptoms
  • RADIUS/SecurID packets are being picked up by an implied rule instead of being encrypted.
Cause
A SecurID authentication server is defined as a RADIUS server on the SmartCenter. This causes UDP port 5500 packets to be picked up by the RADIUS implied rule, thus the packets are not encrypted via the VPN.
