Solution

The Security Gateway has a 1 Mb buffer for storing the CRL file. Despite this large buffer size, the Check Point recommended CRL file size limit is 10K. The Security Gateway implements a CRL file size limit of 10K. A CRL file larger than 10K may cause a problem for a Security Gateway that is deployed behind a NAT device, due to the packet size. A large packet size could delay IKE key exchange processing, thereby causing the Security Gateway to reach an IKE timeout.
