EPS-48000 Added the Application Control blade that allows to control which applications can run or use networking.
- Added support for Endpoint Security on macOS 13 (Ventura) as a GA (General Availability) version.

List of Enhancements and Resolved Issues in E87.00 for macOS

ESVPN-3544 Enhancement: Improved Client UI on macOS BigSur (11) and macOS Monterey (12). Client UI now uses Notification Center instead of custom messages.
ESVPN-3585 Enhancement: Improved startup performance in an environment with an extensive topology (10K routes and more).
EPS-46101 Enhancement: Improved Anti-Malware network bandwidth.
  • The engine download (every 3-6 months) now occurs at a different time for Endpoints users. 
  • VDL signature download (every 3-4 weeks) is now incremental. Only the new signatures will now be downloaded.
EPS-45035 Enhancement: Anti-Malware blade now supports Super Nodes. Refer to sk171703.
- Anti-Bot blade is now supported on macOS 10.15 (Catalina).
Threat Emulation
AHTP-26469 Fallback to cloud is now supported when using a Threat Emulation appliance and the appliance goes offline.

Issue ID Description
EPS-47235 Creating Exclusions using right-click in Web Management for incidents/logs from Browser Extension is not supported.
EPS-48683 Check Point application icons may  be shown incorrectly in macOS on macOS 13.0.1.
EPS-47702 Endpoint Security requests Full Disk Access after upgrade to macOS Ventura13.0.0. Refer to sk180209.
Some DNS queries fail after waking up from sleep mode on macOS BigSur with Remote Access VPN clients. See sk176383.
EPS-47655 Endpoint Client for macOS E87.00 frequently requests User Authentication when:
1. Media Encryption blade is enabled.
2. Strong Authentication is set.
3. The user works with a Local account instead of a Domain account.
AHTP-27314 Websites are not scanned properly by Anti-Bot blade on macOS 13.1 and above.
