Security

  • Smart Accel - A new acceleration technique on Quantum Spark Appliances applicable for high-bandwidth, mainly streaming applications (supported in Locally Managed.

  • IoT Protect (Centrally Managed)

  • Two-Factor Authentication for VPN remote access via email and SMS (supported in Locally Managed)

  • Simple onboarding with Harmony Connect

  • SSL inspection per device type - The ability to inspect secured traffic for selected assets (i.e.: laptop\ desktop\ mobile)

  • Remote Access VPN Strongswan (VPN 3rd party)

  • IDA Collector – Collects information about identities and their associated IP addresses, and sends it to the Security Gateway for identity enforcement

  • Support Threat Prevention over SSH tunnels

  • Updatable objects and FQDN in Locally Managed mode (NAT/SSL/TP) - Use fully qualified domain name (FQDN) object in the NAT policy, TP and SSL exception

  • Support IOC feeds

  • SD-WAN local break out and overlay as Early Availability (Centrally Managed)

  • Auto SSL certificate update – Automatically updates the list of CAs which are used by SSL inspection on a daily basis

  • Cipher utility tool - Enable/disable certificates that are used by SSL inspections/portal.

  • Cloud backup service for uploading Gateway settings for devices managed by Spark Management

Networking

  • Dynamic Routing configuration from WebUI, OSPF, BGP, and Route Redistribution for single Gateway and Cluster

  • IPv6 support

  • Cluster enhancements

    • Single routable IP for clustering

    • Cluster networking configuration from WebUI

  • TACACS+ authentication

Monitoring and Diagnostics

  • SMP Notifications

    • VPN Certificate expiration – Alerts when SMP VPN certificate is about to expire

    • VPN tunnel down/up – Alerts when the VPN tunnel goes down/up.

    • Partition full- Alerts when the gateway partitions are full

  • Doctor Spark and Load – New diagnostic tools, available through the WebUI

  • 1500 Series: 1530, 1550, 1570, 1570R, and 1590 appliances.
  • 1600 appliances.
  • 1800 appliances.
