Symptoms

Policy installation fails with error message "Layer 'Network': Rule <NUMBER> has security zone objects that are not attached to any interface used in <NAME OF CLUSTER>: <NAME OF SECURITY ZONE>." even though the security zone object is configured on one of the cluster interfaces.
The affected Security Zone object is attached to an interface. The interface is not configured on all Cluster Members. The interface is not? configured on the Cluster Member that appears furthest to the left in the Gateway Cluster Properties window in SmartConsole.

Cause

Security Management does not recognize the configuration of the interface on the Cluster when the interface is not configured on the Cluster Member that appears furthest to the left in the Gateway Cluster Properties window in SmartConsole.
