Harmony Connect App cannot connect or its connection status is incorrect Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Harmony Connect App status is disconnected
  • Harmony Connect App status in the Portal is incorrectly displayed as disconnected
Cause

Your organization has a strict internal security policy for outgoing connections, so your Firewall or GPO blocks some resources that the Harmony Connect roaming agent connects to. 


Solution

To ensure proper functionality of the Harmony Connect roaming agent, in your policy, explicitly allow these domains and URLs for outgoing connections:

  • cloudinfra-gw.portal.checkpoint.com
  • api-client-cloudia.portal.checkpoint.com
  • domain/account Identity Provider URL
  • cgc-client-settings.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com
  • cp-tenants-logs-prd.s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com
  • Internet check
    • https://api.ipify.org/
    • https://ifconfig.so/
