Missing MTA signatures and banners Technical Level
  • Scanned emails are missing MTA signature ("Email secured by Check Point").

  • Scanned emails are missing banners and URLs for releasing the original attachments after they are cleaned by Threat Extraction.

  • Scanned emails are missing Report Phishing link after they are scanned by Anti-Phishing.

Emails that do not contain an email body (TXT mime or HTML mime) but do contain attachments are usually sent by automation services when there is no need in the mail body.

By default, Check Point MTA inspects these emails (and the attachments in it), but in the absence of a mail body, does not add any signature/banner/URL.
