The SNMP query for the OID "sysObjectID" on a MHO-175 Orchestrator returns the value of a MHO-170 Orchestrator Technical Level
Symptoms
  • The SNMP query for the OID "sysObjectID" on the Orchestrator MHO-175 returns the value of the "Check Point Maestro Hyperscale Orchestrator 170"

    Example:

    [Expert@Orch1:0]# snmpwalk -c SNMP_Community -v2c localhost .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0
    SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2620.1.6.123.1.4001

Cause

Mismatch between the values configured in the MIB file $CPDIR/lib/snmp/chkpnt.mib and the configuration file /etc/appliance_config.xml, which contains the wrong SysObjectID value (".4001" instead of ".4002"):

<SysObjectID>.1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.6.123.1.4001</SysObjectID>
