Silver Peak Orchestrator ver. below 9.1.0 does not detect changes in Harmony Connect peer IP Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Silver Peak orchestrator versions below 9.1.0 does not detect automatically the changes in IP addresses of its Harmony Connect peer, consequently, Silver Peak points to the old irrelevant IP.
  • No VPN tunnel, so the users behind the "Silver Peak - Harmony Connect" branch sites experience traffic outage.
Cause

A bug found in Silver Peak orchestrators (GMS-19789 ) on versions below 9.1.0 or 9.2.0.


Solution
  • Upgrade the Silver Peak Orchestrator to version 9.1.0 or 9.2.0.
  • If upgrading is not possible, follow the steps below to refresh the Orchestration.

Refreshing the Orchestration

  1. Log into the Orchestrator, go to Cloud Services and select Check Point CloudGuard Connect ...

  2. Click Pause Orchestration.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Click Resume Orchestration.

  5. Click Save.


Wait for several minutes for the changes to take effect.
