Harmony Connect App for Mac - Current Version Technical Level

Background

Harmony Connect App provides secure access and prevents threats anywhere for anyone who  connects to the Internet. 
Check Point regularly provides stability updates to the client application. Notable updates are mentioned in sk155574 Harmony Connect - What's New. Additional updates include reliability and performance.

The App for Windows updates automatically (for more information, see sk171969 - Automatic Updates Policy).
The App for Mac requires the administrator to push regular updates to the user computers. Note that the Mac App is in early availability! 
Before general availability, the Mac App will update automatically.

Check Point strongly recommends to use the latest version of the application.

How to update the Mac App

  1. Download the latest Mac app installer from the Infinity Portal:
    • Navigate to Assets > Users & Devices and click Download App.

      Harmony Connect App for Mac is in private early availability, therefore not all Harmony Connect users have the Mac option.

    • Check Point recommends that you connect an Identity Provider and get a universal installer link. An alternative approach is to add users manually by email, however using this option requires end users to uninstall and reinstall the app on their own.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall Harmony Connect App with Endpoint Management Tools.
