Symptoms
  • Remote Access VPN Client disconnects from the Locally Managed SMB appliance after approximately 30-40 minutes.

  • While a Remote Access VPN Client is connected to the SMB appliance, the 'Connected remote users' field in the WebUI does not show the user's name (only the client's IP address).

  • Before a Remote Access VPN Client disconnects, a log shows that authentication for the user failed in Active Directory, even though AD is not used.

  • The issue started after enabling the Two-Factor Authentication in the VPN Blade on the SMB appliance.
