Smart-1 platforms welcome the 6th generation of Cyber Security. The Smart-1 6000-XL/6000-L/600-M/600-S dedicated appliances are optimized for performance and scalability with both hardware and OS (operating system) hardened from the core.

The new Smart-1 appliances of the 6th generation are the gold standard platform for consolidated Security Management including policy, logs and events in a single box.
The new Smart-1 6th generation appliances deliver a performance boost of up to 200% compared to 5th generation appliances. This provides flexibility to double the number of managed gateways instantly.

Known Limitations

ID Symptoms
MGMTAPP-257

In iDRAC firmware 4.40.0.0 (End version), if a cable is not connected to the iDRAC port, the IP address is not reported.
If a cable is plugged into the iDRAC port and linked up, the correct IP address is reported.

GAIA-1222

A warm reboot that uses the Ctrl+C keystrokes is necessary to complete RAID synchronization.

GAIA-1274

Post-installation reboot is stuck while the ISOmorphic USB is connected and the OS cannot be loaded.
Workaround: Remove the USB and reboot the machine.

MGMTAPP-251

Installation from CD/DVD is not supported.
