Excessive memory usage observed over a 24 hour period when HTTPS Inspection is enabled
HTTPS Inspection, Quantum Security Gateways
When HTTPS Inspection is enabled on the Security Gateway, overall memory consumption gradually increases and decreases within a 24 hour period, exhausting the Gateway's memory.
You may see a number of symptoms such as, but not limited to, dropped return packets of already established and accelerated connections, latency, Cluster fail-overs, and full sync pnotes reporting problem.
The HTTPS Inspection Cache in R80.40 has virtually no limit, and a large cache strains the memory resources of the device.
