Cannot create a local user account with the lowercase characters 'eval' in the login name in Gaia portal Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Cannot create a local user account that has lowercase characters 'eval' anywhere in the login name or real name using Gaia portal.
    For example: Chevalier

  • "Gaia Web-UI recognized a non-valid input data" error is displayed.

  • This limitation does not exist in CLISH -"set user abc realname "Chevalier"" works.
Cause

It is not allowed to create usernames with reserved words, e.g., 'eval', 'apply' etc., in the middle of the username in the WebUI.

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
