Various issues with emails and Outlook when using IMAPS or POP3S on SMB appliances Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Emails are received/sent in a delay.
  • Outlook freezes occasionally.
  • Emails that were read in Outlook reappear as unread.

Cause
The issues above occur when:

For 700/900/1400 appliances:

When the user upgrades from firmware versions below R77.20.81 (inclusive) to R77.20.85-87 (990173043 inclusive), the service timeouts change incorrectly for the service IMAPS.

For 1500 appliances:
When the user upgrades from firmware versions below R80.20.01 (inclusive) to R80.20.05, the service timeouts change incorrectly for the services IMAPS and POP3S.
