Unable to see logs after migrating CMA R77.30 to R80.x Technical Level
Symptoms
  • Unable to see logs in SmartConsole from the relevant CMA and from the MDS after migrate from R77.30.
  • CMA name does not exists under Log Servers in SmartConsole.
  • CMA name does not exists in logServerConfig.xml file
  • dbsync.elg shows:

    "DATE TIME INFO db_sync.beans.dbsyncProvider [taskExecutor-17]: DBSync is disabled (in registry) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    Those are the wrong values in the registery that should be changed (

    :DBSYNC_MODE (PRE_R80)
    :DBSYNC_NEW_MODE (0)
Cause
By default on a clean install,  those registry values should not exist. They are relevant for R80.x SME managed by R77.x Management server.
