Symptoms

Cannot create new tasks, for example domain creation, full sync, etc.
In some cases, the process gets an exception, but the task remains forever in the SmartConsole until the user removes it.

Cause

Tasks are shown as in progress without becoming completed (Success or Failure) in task notification panel.
