SmartConsole shows "Operation timed out" and cpm.elg - "Failed to find domain IP XX.XX.XXX.XXXX" Technical Level
Symptoms
  • SmartConsole shows "Operation time out".
  • Tailing the cpm.elg file shows: Failed to find domain IP "XX.XX.XXX.XXXX" (Security Management IP address).
  • Cannot edit GUI Clients with "cpconfig" - the table is stuck until CTRL+C is pressed.
  • The "api status" command acts the same, does not complete the API check until CTRL+C is pressed.
Cause

The registry has an unwarranted change in it.
