Symptoms
  • E-mail Alerts are not working after setting configuration in Email Server Settings in SmartEndpoint.
  • Telnet from Endpoint Server to domain on SMTP port succeeds to connect.
  • Sending Test Email from Email Server Settings of SmartEndpoint results in error.
  • In $UEPMDIR/logs/server_messages.log:
    [DATE TIME] WARN Dispatcher-Thread-9 - Can't read default mail configuration override - /opt/CPuepm-R80.20/conf/mail.default.conf (No such file or directory) (SMTPClient)
    ...
