No indexed logs after upgrade Technical Level
Symptoms
  • After an upgrade, user cannot see Indexed logs in the "Logging and Monitoring pane".

  • Log_indexer crashes with core dump.

  • $INDEXERDIR/log/log_indexer.elg shows the same logs with changing PID:

    [log_indexer PID]@Host[DATE TIME] Warning at FieldsEnums::LoadXmlToFieldsEnumsMap - did not insert duplicate value 'iOS Profiles' for field 'product'
    [log_indexer PID]@Host[DATE TIME] Warning at FieldsEnums::LoadXmlToFieldsEnumsMap - did not insert duplicate value 'Compliance' for field 'blade_name'


  • $INDEXERDIR/log_indexer_custom_settings.xml is empty.
Cause

$INDEXERDIR/log_indexer_custom_settings.xml file corruption.
