Executing 'installer install [package_number]' in CPUSE is causing an attempt to install a different CPUSE package from the intended one
Symptoms
  • Executing the command 'installer install <package_number>' in CPUSE ends up attempting to install a different CPUSE package from the intended one.
Cause

The packages list in CPUSE when executing the 'installer install' command fills up gradually. As the list is sorted alphabetically (with package names beginning with Upper-case letters sorted before package names beginning with Lower-case letters), a newly added package to the list might take up a number row which was previously occupied by the intended package's name.
