Compliance blade issue with McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) version 10.6.x
Symptoms
  • When no user is signed into the Windows OS client machine and Compliance blade is set to check that McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) version 10.6.x is always running, the check fails and the client machine's status changes to 'non-compliant'.

Cause

Changes in the McAfee ENS engine in version 10.6.x causes Compliance blade to fail "Anti-Virus must always be running" check when no user is signed into the Windows OS.


Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

Check Point recommends to always upgrade to the most recent version.
