simkern.conf file is missing after CPUSE major upgrade Technical Level
Symptoms
  • The "No simkern.conf found; skipping" line appears in the /var/log/CPupgrade_post.elg file after CPUSE major upgrade to R80.20 Take 117 or R80.30.

  • simkern.conf file existed before the upgrade in $PPKDIR/boot/modules, but does not exist in $PPKDIR/conf after the upgrade.
Cause

One of the installtion scripts did not properly locate the simkern.conf file during the upgrade process.
