This limitation is in a code specific to the Threat Prevention Forensics feature and might cause the operational impact, but it has NO impact on security.
Customers that do not use R80.30 Security Gateway or do not use the Threat Prevention Forensics feature are not exposed to its impact.
As immediate workaround, disable the Forensics feature. To do so:
- In SmartConsole, go to Security Policies -> Threat Prevention Policy.
- On each Threat Prevention rule, make sure to clear the Forensics checkbox under the Track column (right-click the cell, then clear the Forensics checkbox).
- Install Threat Prevention policy.
