Server error message when searching for a machine in SmartEndpoint Console
Symptoms
  • When searching for a machine in SmartEndpoint and selecting it, a "Server Error" message appears.

  • Searching for the error code number in $UEPMDIR/logs/server_messages.log shows the following error:

    TICKET_NUMBER = 752701196. ADMIN_ID = {1B733357-9618-B747-93FA-B22D60F34929}, ADMIN_NAME = admin.

Cause

Issue is caused when the last contacted user on the device was removed from the environment (deleted from AD for example), but is still, partially, present in the Endpoint Security Server database.
