Introduction

This article lists all of the Endpoint Security On Demand (ESOD) updates specific known limitations, fixes and improvements.

Now ESOD correctly detects built-in firewall on macOS Sierra and above.

Fixed the crash of Internet Explorer when ESOD starts to scan a system with AVAST Free Antivirus 17.5 installed.

Now ESOD correctly detects the status of F-Secure Antivirus.

Now ESOD correctly detects the date of the last Antivirus updates and recognizes Antispyware of Sophos Endpoint Protection 11.5.6.

Other minor fixes.

Now ESOD correctly recognizes updates for Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.0 build 2332 Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware, Trend Micro 12.0.1352 Anti-Spyware.

Now ESOD detects AVG 1.171.3.211.

ESOD's JAR files were re-signed with the SHA-256 algorithm in order to comply with the Java Security policy changed in Java update 8u131 (see http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/8u131-relnotes-3565278.html for more details).

Endpoint Security On Demand (ESOD) Compliance Scanner support for Windows 10 is planned to be integrated into sk106162 - Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R77.30 (R77_30_jumbo_hf) during March 2016 (ETA is subject to change).

Endpoint Security On Demand Secure Workspace (SWS) support for Windows 10 was integrated into Take_95 of sk106162 - Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R77.30 (R77_30_jumbo_hf).

Fixed issue with detection of Kaspesky Endpoint Security 8 on Linux.

Fixed issue with detection of Check Point Endpoint Security Anti-Malware on Windows.

Now ESOD recognizes Windows 8.1 correctly.

Note: Steps 1-3 explain the "manual on-line update". Step 4 is a full "manual off-line update" procedure. Clean the browser cache prior to the connection to a Mobile Access Portal.
