- Can the cards accelerate DLP and content awareness?
Yes, the cards can accelerate DLP and Content Awareness.
- Can the cards accelerate IPv6 connections?
IPv6 connections are not accelerated by the cards.
- Why single Falcon AC sometimes provides 0% boost to the overall system NGTP performance?
On the High-End appliances, where the Intel/HW can reach high throughput rates, plugging a single Falcon AC will cause it to be busy mainly with passing the traffic to the appliance and not to accelerate it by itself.
In other words, Falcon will not fully utilize its Smart Acceleration capabilities but would mainly be busy with "feeding" the High-End appliance. This is changed when plugging more than one single Falcon AC to these high end systems, as can be seen in Falcon performance numbers.
On the high end when NGTP is required, its recommended to use more than one Falcon in each system.
The above is correct for NGTP and only to the High-End models. On FW-only and VPN, the behavior is expected to be different.
Note: on setups with more than 1-in 1-out, it can be considered to use regular NIC for traffic to be processed by the appliance (to "feed" the appliance) and a single Falcon AC that will boost traffic incoming to it.

Falcon NGTP numbers were achieved with the same blend/equipment/test like datasheet and are aligned with the official datasheet numbers
