IPS package was reverted to an old package.
To resolve this issue, perform the Online IPS update:
- In SmartConsole, go to IPS -> Updates page in the Profiles navigation tree
- Configure an updated policy for the IPS protections that were updated.
In case that the issue is experienced in VSX:
- Double Click on the VSX Object
- Check IPS Check Box in Network Security and push configuration (Click OK)
- In SmartConsole, go to IPS -> Updates page in the Profiles navigation tree
- Configure an updated policy for the IPS protections that were updated.
- Remove the IPS check box from the VSX object
- Push configuration (Click OK)
- Install policy - Without Threat Prevention policy
Note:
Should issue occur during an initial VSX object creation (meaning brand new VSX) - go into any Policy Package that has Threat Prevention enabled and then update to latest IPS version from there. This will allow the VSX creation to use the latest IPS package rather than an older one.
