How to check the Management High Availability status from the CLI Technical Level

To see the current Management High Availability status, run these commands:

cpstat mg

Product Name: Check Point Security Management Server

Major version: 6

Minor version: 0

Build number: 991140036

Is started: 1

Active status: standby

Status: OK


To check if the local machine is the primary or the secondary Security Management Server, run:

grep Primary $CPDIR//registry/

:Primary ("[4]1") means this is the primary

:Primary ("[4]0") means this is the secondary
